Membership conditions
Below you can find our conditions of membership. These conditions become part of your contract about membership with the Werno Community once your application for membership has been approved. Please read these conditions carefully as by completing the membership-application-form you give your agreement to the conditions stated herein.
- Costs
Membership of the Werno-Community is free of charge and includes a free, advertisement-sponsored personal web-site and e-mail. The members may opt for certain other variations such as no advertisements or larger storage-space. These options may be connected to a charge that will be specified in our price-list (see the links in the footers of this site).
- Agreement to Terms and Conditions and Privacy Statement
Members must agree to these terms and conditions and to our privacy-policy. By completing the membership-application-form, you also accept our conditions and our privacy policy.
- Terms
The membership with the Werno-Community is for an unlimited period. Members can cancel their membership with 1 (one) week notice. The Werno-Community may only cancel the membership of a member with 2 (two) months notice. This 2 months period may only be shortened if a breach of these conditions has been caused by the member (see 4)
- Usage of this site
This site and the services provided by this site must not be used to publish racistic, harrassing, pornographic or illegal content. Breach of this condition may lead to immediate cancellation of membership and removal of the content. This list of unwanted content is not limited to the variations stated and unappropriate content may be interpreted differently by members or administrators of this site. The decision of the Werno-Community-Administration whether a content is considered inappropriate is final and members cannot file against this decision.
- Unwanted Content
If you discover unwanted content or postings that you consider harrassing or offending in a member's posting on this site, please contact our Administrators and name us the Author and the location (URL) of the posting.
- Limited liability
This site lives from the postings of our members and visitors. We (Werno-Community) are only presenting the platform for such communication but we are in no way the author of any content posted in any such communication-section of this site nor can we be made liable for this content. The sole owner of any content provided in these sections are the respective authors.
- Usage of EMail
The electronic mailbox provided to our members are solely for individual use. Especially, our email-facility must not be used to send spam-mails, to send illegal, pornographic or harrassing content. The same measures as in 3) and 4) apply in case of a breach. Members must use the email-account in a way that is commonly described as the "nettiquette"
- Usage of personal Homepage
For the usage of the personal homepage provided to our members, the same regulations apply as in 3) and 4)
- Changes of these Conditions
The Werno-Community will post any changes of these conditions on the website as well as it will inform its members about the changes via eMail. If members disagree with any changes, they will be given the chance to cancel their membership status for this reason immediately (without the 1 (one) week notice). If members do not react to the changed conditions within a month of the sending of the email, the new conditions will be accepted.
- Partial invalidity
If any part of these contracts may not be valid due to local legislation, this will NOT lead to the invalidity of the whole contract or all conditions, but all valid terms and conditions will stay intact.
